Lake Washington Institute of Technology is a member of NC-SARA, a regional compact unified under a national "Unified State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement" (SARA). This nationwide initiative makes online courses more accessible to students across state lines and make it easier for states to regulate—and institutions to participate in—interstate eLearning education.

LWTech offers many programs leading to professional licensure or professional certification. Some licenses/certificates are required to practice in the profession (ex. Dental Hygienist), and some are not required but improve job prospects (ex. IT certifications). For your convenience, please check on the licensing requirements for the state where you will seek employment.
