Language Translation Tools

If you want information in a different language, you can use online translation tools. These tools help you change the language of the information. Follow the steps below to use them on different websites and applications. 

LWTech Website

  1. On any LWTech.edu webpage, scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the TRANSLATE heading and the Google search box that states Select Language. Click on the drop-down arrow.
  2. A pop-up box will appear at the top of the screen. Select the language you want the website to be in.
  3. Now the website will be translated into the language you selected.

YouTube Videos

  1. On any Youtube video you are watching, select the gear picture located on the bottom right of the video. 
  2. Next, select the Subtitles/CC row.
  3. Select Auto-translate.
  4. Select the language you want the videos closed captions to be in.
  5. Now there will be closed captions at the bottom of the video in the language you selected.
