About the Business Office

The Business Office serves the financial needs of the college and helps to support overall operations. We provide financial services to students, faculty, and staff. Our office is committed to improving the conduct and methods of our business practices to assist and support all students on a personal level.

LWTech students may pay tuition fees at the cashier's office. We strive to provide the best service possible and make everyone's experience as smooth as possible.

Business Office Updates for Students

Payment Plans Policy

LWTech currently accepts Nelnet as the only established payment plan. There are no exceptions.

1098-T Tax Form Information

The 1098-T Opportunity Tax Credit forms are mailed to students by the end of March and are also available online.

• 2022 1098-T tax forms were available online starting in January of 2023 in LionsLink. Follow the View and Consent for 1098-T how-to guide for directions on how to receive your 1098-T online. Please note: By granting consent to receive your 1098-T online, you will no longer receive a mailed copy.
• Students can email the Business Office to request your 2021 1098-T tax form. 
• For prior year 1098-T's please contact Student Accounts.
• If your tuition was paid by grant, scholarship, or a third-party agency, a 1098-T will not be printed. However, you will still be able to see and print your American Opportunity Tax Credit information.

If you need to purchase something, pay something, book travel, or otherwise deal with college budgets, the Business Office's LionsLink employee course materials in Canvas are for you! Topics include:

Business Office Support

You might have questions you can't find in Canvas, so ask us! Attend a Business Office Support Session virtually on Teams. Sessions are held the first and third Wednesday of the month, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join us to get your Business Office related questions answered! 

Please note: May is the last month of Business Office open-support sessions before we close for year-end. These sessions will resume in Fall.
