LWTech is committed to supporting the academic success and personal development of all students. Undocumented students and DREAMers are eligible to participate in all LWTech support services. A list of those services can be found on the LWTech Students page.

On-Campus Resources

RISE Center: Resources for Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment

The RISE Center aims to create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment at LWTech. It provides culturally competent programs, services, and resources to support students from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, the RISE Center has a student lounge where all students are welcome to relax, build community, and be themselves. Students are also invited to come to the RISE Center to discuss issues related to social justice, diversity, or other related topics.

Off-Campus Resources

  • Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP)
    • The NWIRP promotes justice for low-income immigrants by pursuing and defending their legal status. They focus on providing direct legal services, supported by their education and public policy work.
  • National Immigration Law Center (NILC)
    • Established in 1979, the National Immigration Law Center is one of the leading organizations in the U.S. exclusively dedicated to defending and advancing the rights of low-income immigrants.
  • United We Dream
    • United We Dream seeks to address the inequities and obstacles faced by immigrant youth and believe that by empowering immigrant youth, they can advance the cause of the entire community—justice for all immigrants.
