TRIO at LWTech provides academic and support services to students who are low-income, first generation,* or students with disabilities. We encourage students to complete their degree or certificate and transfer to a four-year college if possible. We strive to make college a rewarding and successful experience for our students.

TRIO is available in-person and virtually Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment, stop by T217, contact your advisor, or email TRIO. To schedule TRIO Tutoring, complete our tutor request form.

*Neither parent nor guardian has a bachelor's degree and neither does the student.

TRIO Drop-In Advising Hours Starting Winter 2024

Starting Winter 2024, we will offer TRIO Drop-In Advising when classes are in session. This is dedicated time when a TRIO advisor will be available for 20-minute drop-in meetings to answer quick questions that may be about registration, class scheduling, tutoring, or following up about a previous appointment.

Drop-ins are in-person only and do not require an appointment. For more detailed support, such as academic planning, scholarships, or resume building, please reach out to your advisor to schedule an appointment. We will continue to be available for 30-minute and 1-hour meetings as normal.
