Your Education Paraeducator Pathway

Our Education Paraeducator program is designed to equip you for paraeducator roles across diverse educational settings, spanning from preschool to 12th grade/adult transition. This program focuses on cultivating professionalism, collaboration skills, ethics, equity, diversity, inclusion, and current educational trends necessary for effective paraeducators in schools.

Upon graduation, your role may encompass individual student support, general classroom assistance, implementation of special education plans, aiding small instructional groups, supervising lunch hours and recess, and supporting students with special needs.

Your classroom experience lays a foundation for aspiring classroom teachers. It serves as a pathway toward teacher certification and a bachelor's program, facilitating your journey towards becoming a certified classroom teacher.
