Mental Health Counseling Services

LWTech offers free and confidential mental health counseling services to all students.

Personal counseling is a chance to talk confidentially with an objective person who can help you learn new skills and look at situations in different ways. This can help you become more capable of solving new problems on your own in the future. Some students benefit from one or two sessions of problem-solving, while others may require more. Although counselors may differ in their approach to counseling, they all have one goal in common: to help you find relief and resolutions to your concerns.

Emergency Assistance

If you are experiencing a health related emergency, please call 9-1-1, Campus Public Safety at (425) 739-8224, or the 24-hour crisis line at (866) 427-4747.

Services We Offer

  • Free short-term mental health counseling services to enrolled students in-person or virtually with our campus Faculty Mental Health Counselor.

What is TimelyCare?

LWTech students have FREE, 24/7 access to virtual care services with TimelyCare — the virtual health and well-being platform from TimelyCare, designed for college students.

Students do not need insurance to access TimelyCare services.

As part of LWTech's partnership with TimelyCare, students have access to services in TimelyCare, including:

Access TimelyCare

Students have access to TimelyCare services 365 days a year. That means you have access during breaks, after-hours, and any time you need support!

To get started:

Before accessing services for the first time, you must register with your LWTech email and password. Use the same password you use for your LWTech email to register with TimelyCare.

  • For assistance with registering and logging in, contact TimelyCare at 833-4-TIMELY.

NOTE: Access to TimelyCare is only available to registered students. Students who graduate or who are no longer registered for classes will lose access to TimelyCare when their registration ends.

To schedule a Counseling appointment with LWTech's on-campus faculty mental health counselor, please complete out our counseling request form.

Many times students with mental health diagnoses do not consider themselves to be students with disabilities which leads to them being underserved in the following support programs. We highly encourage you to connect with these services to see if you qualify as you may benefit from the services provided.

  • Disability Support Services: Provides disability accommodations (such as additional time on tests, priority registration, reduced distraction testing areas) to students with documented disabilities.
  • TRiO: Provides academic advising, scholarship assistance, tutoring, transfer planning, financial literacy education, and support to eligible students.
