About Reserving Study Rooms
Two study rooms are currently available for reservations. We are using the new Microsoft Bookings system (linked below). Thank you for your patience as we learn the system. Please email library@lwtech.edu if you encounter any issues.
Study Room Guidelines
- Priority use of the rooms will be given to students using them for group study (2 or more people constitute a group).
- Study rooms are not intended for use as individual study carrels or as general-purpose classrooms.
- If reserver is more than 30 minutes late, the reservation is cancelled.
- If student does not have a reservation, unreserved rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- After filling out the reservation form, a calendar confirmation will be sent within 24 hours.
About the Study Rooms
The library's study rooms can be reserved on request. You can use the Bookings system to identify a time that is available and a duration (1-4 hours) that you would like to reserve it.
Study Room Requests
Requests for study rooms must be made:
- At least 24 hours in advance
- No more than one month ahead of time
- No more than a four hour block
- If a room is not reserved, the room may be used on a first-come, first-served basis
Available Rooms for Reservation
On the upper floor of the library, directly across from the light up globe.
Room Capacity: 4-8 people
- 1 large monitor with an HDMI cable and Blu-ray player for collaboration and movie viewing.
- 1 white board
- Dry erase markers are available for check out with a student ID at the Circulation Desk.
- 4 office chairs
- 2 tables
- 1 HappyLight™
- Wi-Fi and power outlets
On the upper floor of the library, near the top of the stairs.
Room Capacity: 2-3 people
- 1 large monitor with an HDMI cable and Blu-ray player for collaboration and movie viewing.
- 1 white board
