One-On-One Career Services Appointments
Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) Career Services provides career planning and job search assistance to LWTech students and alumni. Whether you are exploring a new career path, trying to decide on the right educational program, looking for a part-time job or internship while you are in school, or graduating and ready to find your dream job, the Career Services team is here to help. Services include individual support, classroom presentations, workshops, employer events and online resources.

Workshops and Resources
Career Choice Workshop (CCW)
If you are unsure what to study at LWTech, the Career Choice Workshop (CCW) will help you understand the career choice process, identify your career interests, explore resources related to various career paths, learn about trends in the labor market, and locate educational programs aligned with your career goals. Get started on the journey to your future career.
- The Career Choice Workshop (CCW) is offered on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month
at 10 a.m. via Zoom.
- Note: This workshop is currently only offered virtually and the registration cutoff date/time for each session is at 11:59 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the session and you can register by clicking on a session date below. Please sign up for a future session if you are attempting to sign up after the cutoff time.

Hire Lions Help
All current LWTech students and alumni may access their "Hire Lions" powered by Handshake accounts by signing in with your LWTech credentials (LWTech student email and password) and set up your profile and preferences for job notifications.
Employers interested in creating a free "Hire Lions" powered by Handshake account, can visit: https://app.joinhandshake.com/employer_registrations/new to sign up for an account. After creating your employer account, you will be able to select "Lake Washington Institute of Technology" in the "school section" when posting jobs, paid internships, and employment events for LWTech students and alumni.
