LWTech's Economic Recovery Community Consortium is connecting students to industry and industry to our students. COVID-19 has been devastating to families and businesses across Washington state, almost immediately impacting our state's economy. As one of the state's five technical colleges, and the only public institute of technology, LWTech is retraining our fellow Washingtonians who have been displaced by the pandemic.
Through the Economic Recovery Community Consortium, industry leaders are coming together with LWTech to highlight the many ways education and industry are working together to help build and shape Washington's workforce.

Other solutions handled only small pieces of SOC 2, leaving us to spend hundreds of hours a year manually maintaining our compliance posture. Drata's solution automates so much of the process, from continuous control monitoring and evidence collection, to personnel onboarding and asset tracking. This has freed up our operations and engineering time to focus on product development and other priorities that affect our bottom line.

About Seattle Electric Bicycle Company
The Seattle Electric Bicycle Company is the only female-founded electric bicycle manufacturer in the country. All of our bikes are custom, hand-built in the US, using American parts and labor. We source locally, whenever possible, with less than 10% of the finished product containing componentry from outside the US.

I believe that being part of the ERCC team, which is focused on creating a path from the classroom to industry is a major benefit to the local workforce. The needs of a workforce vary by community, and local colleges are an ideal place to tailor student's education to the local needs. The hands-on training that these institutions provide teaches valued skills once the students get into the workforce.
