Marketing Support Services
The Office of Student Life department provides marketing support to Student Clubs, various campus departments, and manages all on-campus posting. This can include student designed graphics for print materials, t-shirts, and social media graphics, videos, or banners. Timeline for development can vary, depending on the request. Office of Student Life Coordinators monitor requests and manage student graphic designer time to ensure requests are managed in a timely manner. All requests will be addressed and clarifying questions will be asked, if necessary, to deliver requested graphic design support.
Graphic Design and Printing Services
Services include student designed graphics for use in advertising , and are provided to:
- Student clubs: graphic design and printing (free of charge). Please see limitations noted in the section below.
- Campus departments: graphic design and printing (at cost, based on availability of student marketing team).

Posting On Campus
Most bulletin boards and wall spaces on campus are maintained by Office of Student Life student employees. Some departments and offices have dedicated bulletin boards in their spaces that are maintained by them.
There are designated spaces for:
- Campus events and activities, occurring throughout the quarter.
- Campus information, like Academic Advising Day, departmental information, or departmental contacts.
- Community events and services, like events happening in the surrounding community.
- Items students or the community want to sell or rent. Postings are managed through Office of Student Life in E128. Please stop by to complete a form.
Posting Procedure
All posters must be approved and hung up by the Office of Student Life Posting Agent, a student employee. Any posters hung up without approval will be removed. Limits on the number of posters that can be hung up are based on the number of available spaces on campus. We enforce this policy in order to ensure that all advertisements are evenly marketed and up-to-date.
Posters must have:
- Date (if for on-going campus service, must have date poster was last updated)
- All LWTech posters must include TDD contact info (TDD: Call 711 for WA State Relay)
- English translation of text (if not written in English)
Posters cannot have any information that includes the following:
- Advertising of alcohol, weapons, drugs, marijuana and/or tobacco products.
- Information that could compromise the safety of the college's staff or students.
- Illegal activity or encouragement of illegal activity.
- Campus services (on-going, non-dated): 25
- Other campus advertisements (for events, courses, etc., dated): 20
- Non-LWTech posters (for sale, jobs, community events, etc.): 3
- Bring posters to RISE Center (E128).
- Provide proof of employee or student status to determine allowable poster limits (see above).
- Staff will review poster, ensuring adherence to stated guidelines and approve them for posting or identify corrections to be made by the requester.
- Posters will be posted within four (4) days of being received.
- If posters are dated, they will be removed after the date of event/application closes. For sale/rent postings will be kept up for duration of current quarter. Events are advertised for two (2) weeks only. If poster is received earlier than two (2) weeks before event, posters will be hung up two (2) weeks, prior to the event.
