Every dollar benefits an LWTech student and will help them with the financial and motivational resources they need to succeed. Foundation Information
The mission of LWTech Foundation is to actively engage with businesses and the community in supporting LWTech, its students, and its role in building a strong economy.
The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization established to raise money and provide support for LWTech students, faculty, staff, and programs. The LWTech Foundation provides hardworking and highly motivated students with scholarships and emergency financial assistance, enabling them to pursue their academic and career goals.
The LWTech Foundation also provides support for instructional programs, including: funds for materials, equipment and projects, professional development opportunities for faculty, and opportunities for students to compete in regional and national competitions. Lastly, the LWTech Foundation plays a vital role in developing and maintaining relationships with corporations, businesses, community organizations, and individuals for the benefit of the college.

Give
The Foundation awards over $300,000 in scholarships annually. Scholarships go to students to help with tuition, fees, books and childcare. The Foundation also provides funds for college activities such as fairs and festivals of an educational or cultural nature. Awards are also made for faculty and staff excellence or to support attendance at professional development activities. There are also several student emergency funds. Your donations support all these Foundation efforts.

2023 Distinguished Alumni Award
The Foundation is pleased to announce Stacey Cadwallader as the recipient of the 2023 LWTech Foundation Annual Distinguished Alumni Award!We formally honored her at Commencement on July 16, 2023. Stacey graduated Magna
Cum Laude from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2018, earning her Associate
of Applied Science in Baking Arts. She now owns her own restaurant, The Sweet Life
Bakery and Cafe located in Lake Stevens.
