With the privacy and security of our organization, its students, faculty, staff, and other community members who trust and rely on us as our priority, we took quick and thorough steps to secure our systems and activate additional cybersecurity protocols. There are two tutoring options available to all students at LWTech. Below is more information about both options. You may learn more from the tutoring resources webpage.
The Learning Lab is a drop-in tutoring center that supports All LWTech students in math, English, science, social science, pre-requisite, and select program classes. The Learning Lab offers free drop-in tutoring from faculty, staff, and certified tutors to support students in understanding course concepts and accessing resources.
Their goal is to provide support to you as you work toward completing your program.

The LWTech Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a free academic support program open to LWTech students enrolled in supported classes. Student facilitators are embedded in supported classes and provide support during in-class assignments and in weekly study sessions outside of class.
Supported classes can vary from quarter to quarter. If your course is listed on the SI page, facilitators will have scheduled meetings on campus or through Microsoft Teams which are dedicated to supporting your class alone. Facilitators are also available to answer questions posted on the discussion boards for the classes.
There are two kinds of tutoring available at LWTech. The Learning Lab is general one-on-one tutoring for all students, using a variety of tools to explain a variety of assignments. Supplemental Instruction is group study sessions for specific classes led by student facilitators who sit in one courses they support. Use both for maximum tutoring support.
