Child Care Options
The Early Learning Center provides high quality, on-site child care and preschool services for students and
employees of the college. We also accept children from the local community on a space
available basis. Our center provides services for toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners
(children ages 18 months -6 years old). Specialists guide the children in exploration
and provide active, hands on curriculum that aligns with our learning through play
philosophy.
Currently, drop-in care for school age children (6 - 10 years old), while local elementary schools are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is offered. Flexible scheduling options are available which include both full time and part time care. We provide a student discount and also accept childcare subsidy through DSHS and Goodwin Connections. Full time students may also qualify for a childcare grant through LWTech’s financial aid department.

The Early Learning Center is a place where LWtech students can bring their children for quality care and they will learn through play in a safe, nurturing environment. This provides students the opportunity to focus on their coursework, knowing their child is also onsite learning and being well cared for.
