Assessment Center

The Assessment Center helps you with a variety of placement or testing services. However, all students will use the Assessment Center in order to determine which English or math class you take for degree requirements. The Assessment Center is also a location for students to take extended tests, when needing accommodation.

Here are the examples of tests provided by the Assessment Center. At some point, you might take some of these tests when applying for different programs.

  • Self-Guided Placement Assessment for Math and English in the Assessment Center.
  • TEAS: Test of Essential Academic Skills.
  • CLEP: College Level Examination Program.
  • Keyboarding: Please contact the Assessment Center to schedule an appointment.
  • Certiport Exams: ACA, MOS and MTA.
  • GEDยฎ: General Education Development.
  • LWTech offers Adobe Certification testing free of charge and by appointment only for currently enrolled Design students and faculty.
  • MOS 2010, IC3 and ACA Adobe Certifications: Certiport lists test locations.

Currently, the Center is helping students take placement tests in-person and online. Visit the Assessment Center webpage to learn more about those tests.
