LWTech Welcomes Governor Inslee to Campus

Governor Jay Inslee and Trudi Inslee visited Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 where he received an honorary Bachelor of Science (BAS) degree in Public Health. As the first college in the country directly impacted by COVID in February 2020, LWTech recognized the governor’s unwavering leadership during that unprecedented time for our state and country. LWTech offers the only BAS in Public Health at a community or technical college in the state of Washington (and the country). It was our honor to recognize Governor Jay Inslee for his service to Washington throughout his three terms as governor,” comments Dr. Amy Morrison, president of LWTech.
