Lake Washington Institute of Technology's Auto Repair Shop is located on the main
Kirkland campus. It does not try to compete with commercial repair shops, therefore, only work needed
for student training is accepted. Vehicles less than 12 years old will meet the requirements
of training for the current automotive job market.
Since we are in the business of training students and the length of our training day is shorter than local repair shops, the work will most likely take longer to complete. Customers may supply their own parts if they meet repair course requirements; otherwise, parts may be purchased through our suppliers at list price.
Before they commit to work on the vehicle, the instructors must have specific information from the customer regarding the type of repairs needed.Please print and complete the Request to Repair Vehicle form and mail the completed form to:
